TV Unit with Neoclassical Wall Mouldings, a Calacatta Marble Upstand, Fluted Console and Twin Timber Bookcases
This neoclassical media wall combines refined classical proportions with contemporary textures. A broad matt cashmere lacquer TV panel is flanked by symmetrical recessed light-oak bookcases, above a vertically fluted floating console with a Calacatta marble top. Concealed linear lighting runs below the composition. Calm pale tones, natural timber and veined marble give the living room an airy, timeless and sculptural elegance.
Material and Colour Balance
Matt cashmere/ivory lacquer neoclassical mouldings with layered profile transitions were applied to the central TV wall and around the columns.
Calacatta Gold natural marble/ceramic slabs with grey-beige veining form a refined rear upstand above the console.
Symmetrical vertical bookcase niches in naturally grained light-oak veneer are recessed into the wall on either side.
A matt cashmere lacquer console with vertically CNC-fluted fronts is cantilevered from the wall above the floor.
Concealed warm linear LEDs at 2700K–3000K illuminate the lower junction between mouldings and marble and the undersides of the timber shelves.
Solid herringbone oak parquet, a thick marble-topped coffee table with a brass base, a circular brass chandelier and sculptural ceramic accessories create a balanced luxury atmosphere.
Architectural Composition and Spatial Hierarchy
Axial symmetry: matching open timber bookcase towers frame the central moulded TV niche, establishing the calm order of classical architecture.
Vertical fluting and rich texture: fine grooves on the console fronts animate the calm moulded surfaces with a varied play of light and shadow.
Layered wall mouldings: lacquer profiles at different depths give the wall dimension and prevent a flat appearance.
Technical and Functional Details
Concealed support and anchoring: the long fluted console and marble top are secured to concealed steel framing in the wall, keeping the entire composition clear of the floor.
Integrated service channel: a technical route behind the moulded panel and marble upstand conceals cables from the TV, soundbar and electrical outlets within the console.
Handleless push-to-open drawers: push-to-open hardware throughout preserves the uninterrupted vertical pattern of the fluted fronts.
